Aliza Morell lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She holds an MFA from Rutgers University (2014) and a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2005). Her paintings have been shown recently at Castor Gallery, Nancy Margolis Gallery, Elijah Wheat Showroom, The Knockdown Center, Pioneer Works Center for Art & Innovation, Kayrock Screenprinting, and Trestle Projects. In 2017 her work was featured in New American Paintings, Northeast, for the second time. She has attended numerous residencies including Vermont Studio Center, Johnson, VT; Ox-bow, Saugatuck, MI; ACRE, Steuben, WI; and Harold Arts, Chesterhill, OH.
